UTSA Engineering is offering its Engineering Summer Camp to entering freshmen through graduating seniors. Students who attend have the opportunity to experience engineering through hands-on workshops, engaging academic lectures, research lab tours, and friendly competitions.
Each day will be focused on a certain branch of engineering, including electrical, mechanical, civil, biomedical, and computer. Some example classes include: circuits, robotics, sustainable energy, automotive, aerospace, environmental engineering, tissue regeneration, prosthetics, and bone growth.
Students have the choice to choose between the day camp or overnight. Students who choose the day camp option will be dropped off each morning at 9 a.m. and will be picked up at 5 p.m.. Students who choose overnight will sleep at UTSA Housing. Lunch and snacks will be provided for all day camp attendees and breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks will be provided for overnight attendees. There will be evening activities each night for overnighters.
